Summer moments

This time the arrangement turned out little more airy than usual. Often the summer versions have been much fuller, but this time I wanted simplicity.

I am one of those people who never seem to tire of admiring the sunlight. But for some reason, when I was younger, I did not really consider myself a summer person. Since we have four distinct seasons, I think it is quite common to have a favorite, and I suppose summer is probably the most popular choice. I always thought it was because I was born in December and therefore a child of winter. Yet my longing for light seems to grow year by year, and in summer, I feel I need to soak up as much sunshine and floral beauty as possible.

The color palette of the selected flowers consists mostly of shades of pink and lilac. In the background, there is a large, dark green leaf of the purple-flowered raspberry. Its beautiful shape adds visual interest and creates a lovely contrast with the light-colored flowers and delicate details.
