Tiny gatherings

My Instagram herbarium grew again this May with a new collection of spring treasures. These seasonal arrangements tend to carry the same feeling: minimal, delicate, and light. The details are small, and depending on the temperature, nature and the garden are only just beginning to wake up.

To help the tiny treasures stand out, I used an old plywood shelf as the background. On grass or moss, these flowers would disappear completely. The plywood, as a natural surface, fits the composition nicely – it, too, has a life of its own.
