Nuppuset pattern

The pattern name Nuppuset means Buds in English. The inspiration for the pattern began with a shrub that was still only in bud stage, which I saw on my way to my studio at the time. I showed a photo of it to my mother, who helped me identify plants, and she thought it might be some type of spiraea, although it was difficult to be certain because the inflorescences had not yet opened.

I digitally drew a few details from the photograph and arranged the resulting plant elements to float lightly in the composition.

There are currently three different colourways of Nuppuset available in Patternsfrom Agency’s pattern library. The colours can also be modified if needed. The pattern has been finalised as vector artwork, making it easy to adjust the colours and scale the pattern without compromising its quality.

The Nuppuset (Buds) pattern is a part of a collection which includes also patterns Päivänkakkarat (Daisies) and Kiemurat (Curves). They go well togerther with the Kesä kukassa (Summer in bloom) collection too.

All these patterns are available for licensing from the Patternsfrom Agency’s online pattern library.
